Biography
Janeth Zoya is a senior banking executive and Manager of Marketing & Corporate Affairs at Tanzania Commercial Bank (TCB), formerly TPB Bank / Tanzania Postal Bank. She has been central to TCB’s strategic repositioning, steering the institution’s brand through its structural evolution from TPB Bank PLC to the formal launch of Tanzania Commercial Bank. Before taking charge of marketing, she served as Chief Manager for Liability and Women Banking, where she championed financial inclusion for women entrepreneurs. In that role she led the rollout of the Tabasamu Account, a dedicated savings and credit window for women in business, and drove TCB’s Women’s Business Forums, work supported by international partners including the International Finance Corporation (IFC). As head of marketing today, she represents TCB in high-profile partnerships, corporate sponsorships, and nationwide economic-empowerment and community initiatives.
